Not only that, they have been put through stringent quality control tests and the link-systems has been tested to over 2.3 million cycles. That's a heck of a lot of moves!
Teeter have gone to extraordinary lengths in the design, manufacture and certification of their Elliptal (Cross Trainer) models.
They have patented and implemented a bunch of useful features and design innovations into their range. Below is a more detailed description of the main features of the FreeStep LT1.
The Teeter LT1 excels here. It use Teeter's own patented zero-impact arm and leg recumbent system.
The mechanism is based on a dual-power system that enables the user to push and pull simultaneously.
Effectively the bike component and the arms component work against each other to deliver a full body workout as you exercise proven to burn 17.4% MORE calories per workout.
Teeter have developed a unique striding motion.
This creates a smooth linear path preventing the knees from traveling over the toes and stabilizing the back and hips.
This eliminates stress on your knees, hips and back while still engaging the legs and glutes for maximum comfort and calorie burn.
The Teeter LT1 Cross Trainer uses a variable magnetic resistance mechanism that can be finely tuned in increments to meet the users exercise requirement simply by means of a dial which can be adjusted up or down as required.
The 13 increments are seamless meaning it can be completely fine-tuned.
Modify the workout by isolating your legs or arms to add intensity or repositioning the handles to target biceps, triceps and back muscles.
Use it to target only your legs, arms, chest, back or ALL at the same time.
Simple to use digital tracking console that shows the distance you've travelled, the speed you are going and the calories used.
It also has a phone/tablet holder above to use in conjunction with the free Teeter Move app to help with your exercises.

It's a clever addition to a very well built machine.

It also has an adjustable height setting and the handles have an 8-position adjustment to make sure you can set the LT1 up exactly to your liking.
The LT1 is only 54 inches long x 38 inches at the widest point of the handles (base is only 29in wide) and 53 inches tall.
the FreeStep LT1 is a low-profile addition to your home, complete with wheels for convenient transport.
Teeter has developed an app for Android and iOS (Apple) smart devices that features useful exercises and training programs.
It's loaded with tips and advice for beginners and more complex exercises for advanced users. It also has Goal orientated exercises to help you set and hit targets.
We touched on this earlier, with any Teeter product you expect them to excel in this category and they haven’t disappointed.
Aesthetically, the design is pleasing to the eye. It looks streamlined, with smooth curves and a minimalistic character, all-in-all a very tactile appearance.
The build quality is also as you’d expect from Teeter. It is a home use cross trainer with the build quality you’d expect from high-end professional products found in commercial gyms.
Teeter have designed a PATENTED linkage system that is designed to be virtually friction free.
The minimization of friction is important for ensuring the longevity of the trainer.
To test this Teeter ran test programs that ran the LT1 Cross Trainer through more than 2-million cycles without any noticeable loss in performance or wear and tear.
Let's now take a look at some of the pros and cons of the Teeter Freestep LT1 Cross Trainer.
Mobility and Storage – The wheels help but it would have been nice if it could have been folded even a little for easier storage. However you would usually allocate a device like this it's own dedicated space.
Display – Given the engineering and design that have gone into the rest of the machine, this is probably the weakest area. Although it shows all relevant info it's nothing fancy.
Not without a couple of minor niggles but overall, this a fantastic trainer at its price point. You get Pro-Gym quality equipment at a price point that makes it a very affordable option.
It is suitable for so most users, from people who need low-impact training routines, those who require physiotherapy right up to people who want to challenge themselves with low impact full-blooded high calorie burning exercises. This machine can tackle it all.
